ONE WEEK PROFESSIONAL CATAMARAN TRAINING IN TROGIR -SPLIT in CROATIA.

Our Lagoon 42 catamaran is easy to reach by plane to Split. Taxi ride takes about 15 minutes (€ 25,-). You can travel by car from southern Germany, Switzerland and Austria in one day.

We will teach you all catamaran sailing, harbor and anchor maneuvers.
Nothing is left out. After an intensive day of catamaran training, you can switch off and enjoy the evening together. We'll get you FIT for your future charter adventures. Proof of nautical miles will follow by email. The cash box is managed by the participant(s). All participants pay for restaurant visits themselves. At the end of the week you will be invited to the captain's dinner. There is only one basic rule on board: Have fun during the week and learn a lot at the same time.

Catamaran Lagoon 42 with 4 cabins, plus 2 extra fore cabins. 3 refrigerators, one of which is in the cockpit area. Extra CODE ZERO Genoa and Wingaker Parasailor. 4.15 meter dinghy with 20 hp engine.
Many kitchen appliances, gas grill. At the cockpit table 4 coolbox stools for storing extra drinks and 4 seats. Table can be used for 8 people. 12 "Navi-Monitor, Auto, AIS, Radar etc. We are a training ship to BG-traffic Hamburg, so maximum safety operations.

We had a very nice and educational week on the catamaran with Jos. Immediately after arrival we started - first with turns, then reverse and steer and finally dock. In the one week we visited Milna, Vis and the beautiful town of Hvar, anchored in great bays with crystal clear water and learned all sorts of sailing maneuvers in between. Jos is very competent and brings the necessary peace and quiet that you can do a lot on your own. We were on the catamaran with our 5 year old son and had a page completely to ourselves. But even in one of the spacious cabins, that wouldn't be a problem. The Lagoon 42 is modern, has plenty of space and each cabin has its own toilet/shower. We felt very comfortable and can highly recommend Jos. After the week of training, we have the confidence to be able to charter a catamaran ourselves in the future.

The week training is very useful. Jos is a quite relaxed teacher that lets you sail and manouver the boat most of the time. The organization of the holiday and training is not perfectly clear, but that lets space for the crew to decide part of it.

Other important information

As I said, married couples or friends often come on board. If you share a cabin, you do not pay twice the full price, but only about 1.5x the price. Both can train fully, but don't have to. Variety is guaranteed. In the afternoon sailing - swimming or shopping. The 4.60 meter dinghy with 20hp engine brings up to 9 people ashore on the same side.
