Brief description of the holiday
The island of Rügen is synonymous with white cliffs overlooking the sea. Thanks to Caspar David Friedrich, a 19th century painter and his painting “The chalk cliffs of Rügen”. The limestone walls are located within the Jasmund National Park, a Unesco heritage site. The Königsstuhl , 117 meters, leaves enchanted those who like us enjoy it from a privileged position, that of the sea. 135 miles of route around the island, a classic tour by German sailors. You leave Stralsund, a Hanseatic town heading west, to Barhoeft . Marina characterized by mooring briccole and shallow waters. The inland waters of Rügen are characterized by a network of dredged channels. The next day we head north towards Hiddensee sailing outside the island. The third day includes a sail under the famous cliffs and a night at anchor in Tromper Wiek . From here we proceed east towards the easternmost side of the island. Last night in Thiessow and then back to Stralsund.
