Day 1 - Saturday: Alimos - Aegina (3.5 h) :
Your catamaran will be waiting for you from 16:00 at the Marina of Alimos. Alimos is a district in the south of Athens, 30km from the city airport. Welcome by the crew and accommodation in the cabins.
Departure at 18.00 from the Port of Perdika. Perdika is a traditional town built around the port. In ancient times the inhabitants worked exclusively with fishing. The main feature of the town of Perdika are the small houses with the courtyards connected to each other. In the pedestrian area there are taverns famous for fresh fish, bars where you can drink good ouzo and cafes. The pedestrian area continues with benches among the trees where you can admire the sunset, watching the sun disappear into the sea. Go down the special rock stairs to swim in the clear water. Swim to the beautiful rocky beach of Perdika, near the trees, open the umbrella and dive into the sea, from the two wooden platforms.
Day 2 - Sunday: Perdika - Mandraki / Hydra (4 h) :
Breakfast on board, visit by bus or taxi to the town of Aegina which is picturesque and traditional, with excellent restaurants, taverns, clubs, bars, cafes and nightlife. Alternatively, visit the Ancient Temple of Aphaia. After lunch we will continue to Mandraki bay in Hydra where we will spend the night. With sea taxis you can visit the port of Hydra.
Hydra, built in the shadow of an Amphitheater on a slope overlooking the Argosaronic Gulf, is one of the most romantic destinations in Greece. The stone buildings, the narrow cobbled streets, the secluded squares and above all the car ban and the use of around 500 donkeys as a means of public transport, are the reason why Hydra has preserved its characteristic atmosphere over time . The island has experienced exceptional economic growth in the past thanks to its naval and commercial activities. The inhabitants also contributed significantly to the War of Independence of 1821 as their powerful fleets participated in crucial naval battles. 300 churches and 6 monasteries scattered throughout the island as well as the cannons and statues of the heroes of the War of Independence still standing on the balconies of the islands create a romantic mosaic.
Day 3 - Monday: Hydra / Spetses (3 h) :
Breakfast on board, then we set sail for the Port of Hydra and stay there 1-2 hours, then we continue to the island of Dokos for lunch.
Dokos is one of the most popular nautical destinations in the Saronic Gulf. It is an isolated, mostly uninhabited island located between the south coast of the Peloponnese and the islands of Hydra and Spetses. What makes Dokos so popular with boaters is the picturesque bay of Skintos which offers clear waters and shelter from all winds. Dokos is ideal for those who love wild landscapes, peace, quiet and breathtaking sunset views! There are many good reasons to visit Dokos. The island offers important historical artifacts of over 8000 years and the oldest shipwreck in the world. After lunch we sail to the island of Spetses.
Spetses, an island with a long naval tradition, famous for its significant contribution to the War of Independence of 1821. It is here that the flag of the revolution was raised on 03 April 1821. The island has managed to retain its individual traditional character thanks to its well-preserved mansions of the great captains, testimony of the glorious past of the island. The picturesque old port and Dapia, a tourist and commercial center where the heart of the island's entertainment beats, are the trademark of Spetses. Take a romantic tour of the island in horse-drawn carriages and admire the old mansions that adorn the narrow cobbled streets.
Day 4 - Tuesday: Spetses - Ermione (2 h) :
After breakfast we sail towards Ermioni with a stop for a swim and lunch in Aghios Emilianos and in the afternoon we arrive in Ermioni.
Ermioni is a picturesque village of about 2600 people on the south east coast of Argolis, with a characteristic island aspect. It is located near the Bitsi promontory, at the far end of the Argolida Peninsula, facing the islands of Dokos and Hydra. The inhabitants are mostly engaged in the cultivation of olives. In recent decades the area has become a tourist attraction, turning many locals into tourism entrepreneurs. If you love hiking trails, you should definitely go through the Katafyki gorge which joins Ermioni with Fournoi. It is a walk of about half an hour that will surely seduce you. The landscape is of unique beauty, consisting of rocks, caves, rich vegetation and the small church of San Nicola, built in 1740, with the remains of medieval walls in its courtyard. The old historical bridge will take you to the nearby picturesque village of Fournoi through an enchanting landscape of pine trees and streams of water.
Day 5 - Wednesday: Ermione - Poros (3.5 h) :
After breakfast we sail to the island of Poros with a stop at the Soupia bay for swimming and lunch. As you enter the port of Poros, you will have a nice view of the city, built on the hills.
The finds in the Archaeological Museum date back to the Mycenaean period (1600 - 100 BC) up to and including the Roman period. Among the exhibits you will find finds of ancient wrecks found in the Gulf area. Take a tour of the ruins of the Temple of Poseidon in the northern part of Poros. Following a path through the narrow streets of the town you will arrive at the top of a hill, where the island's trademark stands out: the historic Clock Tower, where you can relax and enjoy the panoramic view of the entire town.
Day 6 - Thursday: Poros - Palaia Epidaurus (4 h) :
We sail to the Love Bay of Poros. Breakfast on board and we continue towards Epidaurus with a stop in Aghios Georgios for lunch.
Ancient Epidaurus (or Palaia (old) Epidaurus as it is called in both ways) is a small but fascinating port of the Saronic Gulf, with a rich history that is lost in the depths of the centuries, which offers the visitor sea, natural beauty and sites archaeological. Built on the same spot where the ancient city stood, it extends to the bowels of a narrow bay. The view is dazzled by the pine-covered Mount Akros.
