The Rome Winter Championship is the largest championship in Italy. The course includes participation in a regatta of the Fiumicino Winter Championship and training. You will be included in the crew and thanks to an Fiv Instructor on board you will find your role.
Participation also granted to newbies. Object of the course: crew training, distribution of roles, sail adjustments to drive the boat to maximum performance, racing strategy and tactics, use of the spinnaker / gennaker.
Training on Saturday from 10 am to 3 pm and Sunday from 8 am until the end of the race at approximately 5 pm. It is possible to sleep on board, contact me to arrange it together. I offer you the opportunity to participate in the whole championship (10 regattas and 8 training sessions) or just one heat (5 regattas and 4 training sessions) with a special package. It's hard to describe my baby, already not calling it a boat is significant ... I spend a lot of time maintaining the boat, I like to have it always efficient and clean. The boat has three large double cabins and a comfortable bathroom. In the forward cabin (owner's cabin) there is also a very functional sink when you do weeks. Inside the boat there are excellent spaces both for crew and for galley and baggage. Outside there is a large cockpit and both on the deckhouse and at the bow there is the possibility to lie down for the sun. The spraywood, the bimini (sun cover), cushions and the external speakers for the stereo make life on board more comfortable. The boat was designed to be a comfortable and safe boat and it is really true, in many years I had the opportunity to try it, despite this makes you thrill sailing. The helm is very sensitive but not nervous so it allows anyone to helm with complete peace of mind. I like to share my boat with guests and on board there are no particular rules but only respect between people and the boat

Getting to the tourist port of Rome (Ostia) is very easy either by car or by public transport.from Rome take the train to Ostia from Ostiense station (Metro B) and get off at Ostia centro and take a bus number 1 or 2 and get off at the port about 10 minutes. For those who come by car there is a free parking in front of the port
