This experience, in a nutshell

LAST MINUTE DISCOUNT! The two available seats are in the sofa bed in the dinette with a shared bathroom. Write me for more information!

Come aboard with us to discover the 5 Terre Nature Park on a sailing boat , a naturalistic oasis that is UNESCO's world, environmental and cultural heritage.

We will depart from the Port of Mirabello, in the center of La Spezia, aboard a comfortable Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 49 of 15 meters in 2008, equipped with 4 cabins and 4 bathrooms , to sail to the Marine Protected Area of the park. We will admire, from the point of view of the sea, the splendid coast overlooking the sea with bays and beaches, the colorful medieval villages including Vernazza which is considered one of the most beautiful in Italy, the sanctuaries and the enchanting landscape characterized by terraces, that is small strips of land cultivated with vines and olive trees supported by the characteristic system of dry stone walls. Saturday night we will stop for the inevitable visit to Portovenere, beautiful to admire both from the sea and from the ground. We will be able to choose whether to dine in the village or in one of the suggestive restaurants on the sea present in the opposite island (Palmaria). We will spend the night at the buoy on the crystal clear waters of the Gulf of Poets, so when you wake up you will not have to do anything else but dive in! On Sundays we will relax in the beautiful bays of the three islands of the Natural Park of Portovenere (Palmaria, Tino, Tinetto). From Palmaria open the famous Blue and Byron caves that we can admire from the boat. To complete the unforgettable weekend: Ligurian wines, fresh fish and excellent local cuisine.

Our boat will be a Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 49 from 2008 (refitting in 2015), has 4 comfortable double cabins all with private bathrooms and a large room that becomes a bed . It is well designed architecturally and is an example of comfort, safety and liveability of spaces. The cockpit is comfortable and spacious, the cabins are spacious and with effective ventilation thanks to the portholes, the finishes are very accurate. The kitchen is large and well equipped with 2 tilting fires, oven, sink with 2 basins and large refrigerators and freezer. Internal / external HiFi system, various USB ports and 220v sockets (in port). On deck we find: large central cockpit with table, helm station and navigation instruments, awning, various seats and sunbathing areas, comfortable rear beach with shower (with hot water). To reach the land there is a tender with an outboard engine.

The 3 stars are an average of several things: the skipper Francesco is an excellent person and very prepared, friendly and company, for him the stars would be 5. Very nice place, too bad for the sea a bit rough but it was no one's fault. The boat, on the other hand, was old and not very well maintained, there were 11 of us but there was no place to stay all in the shade and even the places in the sun were very uncomfortable. There was no way to charge the phones (only 2 sockets working and only when the engine was on) and finally 5 cabins of which 2 half of the others are bunk cabins while one of the double rooms even had a private bathroom, too bad we all paid the same amount. Finally, squeaks everywhere that made moments of relaxation less relaxing.

Massimo was not present, he found a replacement, Francesco. He seemed to me to be not very proactive in working as a group, in giving explanations on the itinerary and in dealing with the inconveniences that arose during the weekend. An experience that turned out to be positive all in all thanks to the group, but I would have expected more attention.
