This is a holiday dedicated to
- Sailing School
Brief description of the holiday
It will be a "real" cruise, you will have to do everything on board and you will be followed by a Glenans instructor. The spirit will be that typical of the Glenans: attention dedicated to navigation, always alert and active crew, spartan cruising conditions, learning thanks to direct experience with brief morning breefing, evening debreefing, theoretical knowledge on request of the crew and not dropped from the tall with long and boring explanations, all without giving up having fun bathing and cooling off. The 1980 Solaris 37 is an ideal boat for learning to sail, but it is uncomfortable and a continual source of contingencies that will require all our skill to be solved. The thousand setbacks typical of a real one can happen. One thing is for sure it will not be a comfortable and relaxing charter, but an exciting and adventurous journey: "At the end of the cruise you will need a week's holiday, but you will never forget this experience!"
The Solaris 37 boat in glass-resin that feels the weight of the years so don't expect a new boat with everything working.
It has a double cabin in the bow, two beds in the dinette, two separate beds in the aft cabin, a bathroom with hot water between the dinette and the bow cabin, kitchen, refrigerator.
You don't expect a charter boat, but rather a boat that has lived with top-notch features that are many years old.
That being said it is a very safe boat and it can face any sea and any weather conditions.
