This experience, in a nutshell

Our holiday will begin by leaving the moorings from the Marina Dorica in Ancona, because pointing the bow to the east at the first light of dawn will be the first of a long series of emotions that we will experience in the following days.

After about 10 hours of navigation we will reach the first bay where, after enjoying the pleasures of a nice swim in the crystal clear Croatian waters, we will spend the night under starry skies like in few places in the Mediterranean, far as they are from any source of light pollution.

In the following days we will alternate bay life with sailing and it will be a pleasure for me, to those who want, to teach the pleasures of sailing driven solely by the force of the wind.

But also visiting the characteristic Croatian villages is a unique experience, once fishing villages, today opportunities to take a walk in the evening and maybe taste the typical Croatian dishes in some konoba.

Then there are the Kornati islands, unique in the Mediterranean, a natural park, completely bare of vegetation due to their origin and conformation, and the blue waters that contrast with the white rock.

We will spend the return crossing with our souls full of all the emotions experienced in the previous days and we will return to Ancona where we will disembark in the evening.

Please note: the skipper will occupy a place in the cabin with the bunk beds

Our itinerary

The crossing is 66 miles long and takes about 10 hours.

We will start our holiday from the northern part of Dugi otok, with the exploration of the most beautiful bays in the area such as Pantera bay, Molat, Brbinj, Rava.

In the following days we will stop in Sali, or Iz Veli, typical Croatian villages, where we can replenish the galley and take a walk in the evening. A must-see is the island of Zut, where in the evening we can climb the hill and enjoy a beautiful sunset with a view of the entire dugi otok and Kornati. We'll then continue to the latter where we'll explore the most beautiful bays. A must is certainly the one under the high sheer coasts typical of these islands. We will then go up north to reach the lighthouse of Sestrice, near the bay of Telascica (natural park) from where we will leave the coast for the return crossing.

Nonostante qualche giornata di maltempo Luca è riuscito a proporci comunque un'organizzazione che ci ha permesso di goderci il tempo comunque. Grande atmosfera a bordo, piacevole navigazione e luoghi incantevoli hanno fatto di questa crociera un meraviglioso momento di relax.

È stata la nostra prima esperienza in barca a vela (due adulti e due bambini di 7 e 11 anni),bellissima ma bisogna avere tanto spritiro di adattamento. Luca skipper meticoloso e attento con un esperienza alle spalle incredibile.
