This experience, in a nutshell

We will take you to discover the southernmost part of the Tuscan archipelago.

Elba, Giglio and Giannutri, three islands rich in history and charm, with coasts of all kinds, from the sheer cliffs of Giglio to the unspoiled charm of Giannutri.

Sailing among the pearls of the archipelago we will enjoy long swims and wonderful walks, passing through small fishing villages and towns rich in life and local history.

We will sail in a flotilla with another sailboat, sharing routes, anchorages and why not challenging each other in some friendly regatta. It will be an opportunity for the crews, if they wish, to socialize and make new friends!

Our base will be Piombino, the new marina is easy to reach by car, very close to the Island of Elba and Capraia and therefore the ideal starting point for our trips. The itineraries can satisfy both the most experienced and those approaching the world of sailing for the first time.

During the experience there will be the opportunity for everyone to learn and participate in the maneuvers. These will be days of relaxation, sport, nature and fun.

Our itinerary

The map is purely indicative, our itinerary will be, as always, dictated by the weather, based on that we will decide which route to follow and which island to visit first.
Once the cabins have been assigned and the galley has been arranged, we will immediately leave for Elba, rounding the islets of Ortano and Palmaiola we enter the large gulf of Porto Azzurro, where we will be able to give them again and spend our first night under the stars.
The next day early we will set sail to cover the 35 miles that separate us from Giglio sailing, having fun and why not, trying to catch a nice lunch!
Once there we will begin the discovery of one of the most beautiful and wild islands of the Tuscan archipelago, we will anchor in breathtaking coves such as Campese, Cala delle cannelle, delle Caldane and many others. We will immerse ourselves in its unspoiled landscapes that make it a small trekking paradise, we will visit the port with the characteristic village with restaurants and shops of local products and the upper village with the castle and postcard views.
After Giglio it will be the turn of Giannutri, the smallest of the archipelago and a real pearl in the middle of the sea. About three km long and just over 900 meters wide, it is characterized by a jagged and rocky coast, interrupted by picturesque coves and numerous caves.
The island is almost entirely a natural park, Cala Maestra and Cala Spalmatoio will be our landing places to visit a unique island where time seems to have stopped.
Depending on the weather, we will then decide whether to make a stop at the Argentario and then head north and then to the delightful Cala Violina, or whether to aim, perhaps with a night navigation, directly to the south of the island of Elba for our last stop and before returning, strictly sailing in the Piombino channel, to our embarkation marina.

The itinerary may be subject to changes due to weather conditions and/or technical or logistical reasons, in order to ensure safety and a pleasant sailing experience for all participants.
