This experience, in a nutshell

Embarking on a week-long sailing adventure between Corfu, Paxos and Antipaxos is an experience that envelops you in an atmosphere of pure beauty and serenity.

Corfu welcomes sailors with its historical charm and enchanting beaches, while Paxos amazes with its hidden bays and crystal clear waters that invite swimming and snorkeling.

The stop in Antipaxos, with its white sandy beaches and emerald waters, is a true paradise on earth to explore. Every day brings with it the discovery of new secluded bays and picturesque coastal villages, where you can immerse yourself in the local culture and savor gastronomic delicacies.

Nights on a boat under a starry sky, lulled by the gentle movement of the waves, are unforgettable. The ascent along the coast of Corfu at the end of the week brings with it a mixture of melancholy and gratitude for having lived such an intense and fascinating experience among the beautiful Ionian islands.

Our itinerary

Our trip starts here:

Corfu.

Check-in: 9:00 AM

Our trip ends here:

Corfu.

Check-out: 9:00 AM

Leg 1

Monday

The embarkation is scheduled in the morning, Monday is market day in Corfu old town, so we do not miss the opportunity of a short visit to buy fresh fish and make a galley. We cast off the moorings and set off on our first sailing, off the coast of Plataria you can enjoy your first swims in the Greek waters. Stop in Plataria for a typical dinner in a local tavern and to enjoy its famous sunsets. Overnight in the bay.

Leg 2

Tuesday

We continue our adventure towards Sivota, a small archipelago characterized by enchanting bays and beaches surrounded by vegetation and the sea with crystal clear water. We will visit the caves and the beautiful Blue Lagoon. We'll continue on to Loggos, a pretty Greek village with pastel-colored houses surrounded by centuries-old olive groves. In addition to its crystal clear and transparent waters, it stands out for its delicious restaurants whose lights are reflected on the water. We will spend a day in tranquility under the olive trees, enjoying the beautiful beaches of this island.

Leg 3

Wednesday

We will sail to Lakka and circumnavigate the island of Paxos, discovering new scenery and small corners of paradise. We will parade in front of beaches, coves, bays and cliffs overlooking a sea so clear that it seems unreal. After seeing the famous Love Caves we will reach Gaios for the night. There will be the opportunity to taste the typical cuisine of the place.

Leg 4

Thursday

The navigation leads us to Antipaxos, a small and wild island, where swimming in clear waters, with shades from blue to green, spectacular beaches and truly suggestive rock formations, such as the rock of the submarine, await us. We continue sailing towards Ormos Joannis, a charming and lonely bay characterized by a freshwater spring.

Leg 5

Friday

After breakfast we will leave for the mouth of the Akeronte, the river of sorrow on which Charon ferried the souls of the dead. The ancient Greeks were convinced that the souls of the dead lived in the valley and believed that, through the river, the ferryman took them to Lake Acherousia. Beneath this deep lake must have been Hades. It will be possible to descend a stretch of the river by kayak to admire the natural beauty of the river: the lush vegetation and the fauna that populate its banks. We then sail to Parga, a picturesque town famous for its beaches dominated by the imposing walls of a Venetian castle. Let's go down to discover its narrow streets animated by shops and cafes that are really characteristic.

Leg 6

Saturday

Sail to Petriti, a quiet and picturesque fishing village characterized by lonely beaches. Before evening we return to Mandraki where a dinner with friends awaits us, strictly based on local products!

Leg 7

Sunday

After breakfast it's time to go home. We say goodbye to Greece, which gave us a holiday that we will remember for a long time

The itinerary may be subject to changes due to weather conditions and/or technical or logistical reasons, in order to ensure safety and a pleasant sailing experience for all participants.

I spent a wonderful holiday with Giovanni and Stefania and Remo. Always attentive to comfort, to take care of life on board. Giovanni is a confident captain, with a lot of experience, nice, always ready to share his knowledge of navigation. I learned a lot with him and I thank him very much. Stefania makes delicious cuisine and makes sure of everyone's well-being. They give us lots of tips for things to do and see on the stops on land. I will certainly return to do another week of navigation with them. Unfortunately I didn't like Albania so much but the other islands were lovely. [hidden] is a beautiful and safe boat. Thanks for everything

We had a wonderful week for our first week-long experience on a sailboat. Stefania and Giovanni are exceptional hosts. Very welcoming, we immediately felt at home. Stefania is a remarkable cook, very attentive to introduce us to Greek cuisine. Everything is fresh and homemade! Giovanni is always on hand to help us discover exceptional sites and far from the tourist crowds. The boat is very comfortable. We shared a lot of authentic moments. We are ready to come back very soon! We highly recommend this cruise both for the kindness and competence of our hosts and for the beauty of the places we have visited. Every day was a new paradise. 1000 thanks!

Our first sailing experience was wonderful. Giovanni and Stefania are very special people and in love with sea life.... And you can't help but be fascinated by their stories. Arriving in Venice from the sea was a priceless magic.... Not to mention all the secret corners of land and sea that they made us discover. Stefania's cuisine is truly of a high level as well as being very respectful and attentive to the culinary tastes of her guests. The boat seemed very comfortable and perfectly maintained, you sleep well and the spaces are very livable. We can only recommend booking an experience with Giovanni and Stefania, I'm sure you won't regret it..... We are already thinking of repeating it soon. PS. 1 Finally, they also taught us how to recognize a true inhabitant of Venice..... But let's let them explain the trick to you????. PS.2 thanks to sailsquare for letting us discover it
