This experience, in a nutshell

NB: Il quinto posto disponibile è in dinette

La Via del Leone - From Dubrovnik to Monfalcone, sailing through Istria

With Fabrizio I finished the long stretch of the Via del Leone participating in the week from Dubrovnik to Monfalcone. It was an exciting experience, the boat is beautiful and very carefully prepared both for a comfortable cruise and for demanding navigations and this denotes the great love that Fabrizio has for her as well as an excellent experience and preparation for long navigations. Knowing how to convey all this and involve the crew with balance and empathy is not for everyone, congratulations, I will gladly return in the future!

The Way of the Lion - From Corinth to Dubrovnik in Croatia, passing through Corfu to Ionian Greece

With this cruise I crossed 3 Aegean, Ionian and Adriatic seas aboard a magnificent Grand Soleil 45 well maintained and set up in such a way as to border on perfection. A Cutter with 8 winches in the cockpit that made the maneuvers quick and precise. I have never sailed on such a well-kept boat, set up with such care and impeccably conducted by Fabrizio, the skipper. To make the cruise pleasant also the crews who followed one another in the 2 weeks, Matteo and Dino, 2 sailors from Lake Maggiore, who proved to be perfect in facing the 12 hours of Meltemi that accompanied us from the island of Tinos (Cyclades) to Athens the first week. Nilla and Roberto a couple of peers, adventurous and cultured, with whom I shared the discovery of places full of charm that we met on the route from Corfu - Dubrovnik. Truly a nice cruise

The Way of the Lion - From Thessaloniki to Greece to Istanbul, Turkey

August 2019 Thessaloniki-Istanbul Fabrizio greeted us on board with a big smile. The destination, Istanbul, is far away: two weeks of navigation on a sea that is anything but easy. However, Fabrizio's competence and scrupulousness has always made us feel in total safety. The boat is splendid and was already ready for the Meltemi (with armed torment) but when the wind is too much (50 knots on the quay) you do not risk, you stay in port, at the cost of having to give up the bath anchorages. The Aegean in August is not for holiday cruise passengers, it is for adventurous, but responsible, sailors. Certainly I would be more than ready to embark again with Fabrizio, indeed, I would have stayed there more than willingly for the return (finally with wind in favor), but the holidays end, hopefully next year!
