The Egadi archipelago, which has become the largest nature reserve in Europe, is a true natural paradise just a few miles from Marsala. Located in the western part of Sicily it is composed of Favignana, Levanzo and Marettimo, which offer unique trekking trails and underwater archaeological sites. Rich in beaches and sea caves, they convert the entire archipelago into a perfect seaside destination for those who love clear and transparent waters.

The precise itinerary will be defined during the briefing before departure, taking into account the weather conditions and the wishes of the group.

Leg 1

Favignana

Favignana is the main island of the Egadi Islands. Due to its geomorphological conformation, the island offers both beaches and caves and is the perfect destination for those who love seaside destinations, characterized by clear and transparent waters. The island consists of two main beaches: Cala Azzurra, a small sandy bay in the south of the island and the wide beach of Lido Burrone. More spectacular and fascinating are the rocky coves of Cala Rossa and Cala del Bue Marino, characterized by tuff quarries and splendid seabeds; finally the area of Punta Longa, Previto and Faraglioni are places where you can enjoy breathtaking sunsets where the sky is tinged with wonderful colors.

Leg 2

Marettimo

Marettimo is the second largest island in the Egadi archipelago, preceded by Favignana and followed by Levanzo. It is undoubtedly the wildest and most unspoiled of the archipelago. The caves are the main natural feature: between those emerged and those submerged, there are more than 400! In particular, among the sea caves are the Grotta del Tuono (also known as the Cave of the Nativity Scene), or the Grotta del Cammello. Due to its conformation, there are few beaches that can be reached by land; among these, however, the beautiful Cala Bianca, with its stones and clear waters, located on the slopes of the promontory of Punta Troia.

Leg 3

Levanzo

Facing the northern coast of Favignana, Levanzo is the oldest of the Egadi islands, as evidenced by the graffiti found in the Grotta del Genovese, and dating back to 9200 BC. The historic center lies on the shore of Cala Dogana, dominated from above by a Saracen watchtower. It is the smallest island of the archipelago and the lack of roads makes it an ideal destination for trekking enthusiasts through suggestive and not at all uncomfortable paths, to discover ancient refuges and endemic plant species.

Spectacular holiday! A week of sunshine aboard a top catamaran! The skipper Timoti was fantastic, always ready to listen to our wishes looking for solutions to accommodate them, proposing changes to the itinerary (which was decided by majority) to please everyone as much as possible. We have always arrived first in each cove and we have avoided being surrounded by too many people, so that we can fully enjoy the magic of the Egadi Islands. He was a perfect tour guide for land activities as well, recommending itineraries, experiences and restaurants. His friendliness and professionalism throughout the week allowed us to experience a fun and carefree holiday. The move between Marettimo and Favignana with sails up was the best, the silence offered by the push of the wind allowed you to enjoy the sea, the sun and the visit of dolphins! Maurizio, Giuseppe and Gaspar were also always available, all really very good and caring!

It was a very nice week indeed. Everything worked perfectly. Perfect organization for punctuality and services. Thanks to Maurizio and Giuseppe for the support provided even before departure. Wonderful places and great time. The skipper Timoty always available ready to give us suggestions and to satisfy our needs / requests but above all very very competent. A capable, attentive and scrupulous professional when sailing and during maneuvers. Very nice boat well kept and clean. An experience that I suggest everyone to do.... and as for me I will repeat next year maybe on another destination. Thanks again to the whole team
