This experience, in a nutshell

Come and sail on a fantastic 12-meter sailboat equipped with all comforts, but which does not leave performance in the background.

We are a non-profit sailing sports association based in Barcelona, our skipper is a professional instructor who has worked for the largest and most renowned European sailing school based in France: Les Glenans.

On board with us you will have the opportunity to learn how to sail or simply let yourself be carried away by the wind and leave the daily routine behind. No sailing experience is required to participate.

THE PHILOSOPHY OF THE HOLIDAY:

Aperitifs at sunset, encounters with dolphins along the way, chatting with new friends under starry skies... A stress-free week, in complete connection with the rhythm of nature and the sea. The holiday I propose is perfect for those who want to relax and slow down the pace of life to connect with the rhythm of nature and the sea.

You don't need to be an expert sailor, what you need is the desire to have fun and live a unique adventure based on sharing experiences at sea and on board. Whenever possible, in fact, we will prefer the less crowded bays and coves : they may not always be the most famous, but I know the area very well and I hope you will rely on me to discover the most authentic places together.

WHAT ARE THE ROLES ON BOARD?:

Take time to watch a sunset with a glass of white wine, take a long crossing and see dolphins jumping next to the bow, look at the starry sky in good company in a wild roadstead. A holiday is not an obligation, but in addition to learning to sail, on a boat you learn to live in a community.

Essential to be at ease during the experience is to cooperate in all activities on board (from shopping, to cooking, to daily and final cleaning), order, respectful sharing of common spaces and resources (electricity, water), cabins and personal needs.

Of course, we will also collaborate in all navigation, anchoring and mooring maneuvers.

WHERE WILL WE SAIL?

The itinerary I propose is to discover the south of Sardinia: during a sailing holiday it is always good to keep in mind that the precise itinerary is agreed according to the weather conditions and then also to personal desires, so you will always try to sail.

The main idea of the sailing we will do will be to discover as many places as possible, so it is not convenient to embark and disembark in Cagliari. To make themost of the time available , if we start the journey in Cagliari we will end it in the Carloforte area and vice versa, in any case the places of embarkation and disembarkation will be easily accessible by bus or train.

Those who wish can also practice: sport climbing, freediving, underwater and sport fishing. The boat has all the necessary equipment.

Our itinerary

Our trip starts here:

Cagliari.

Check-in: 2:00 PM

Our trip ends here:

Carloforte.

Check-out: 3:00 PM

Leg 1

Cagliari

Our journey begins in the vibrant city of Cagliari, where history meets the sea.

Cagliari

Leg 2

Villasimius

From there we will set sail to discover the fascinating area of Villasimius, with its pristine beaches and turquoise waters.

Upon entering the marine protected area of Capo Carbonara you will witness nature in its purest form, surrounded by the vibrant marine life that thrives in this pristine sanctuary.

Villasimius

Leg 3

Tueredda Beach

We will then head southwest to reach the beach area of Tuerredda and Capo Malfatano, a place where grayish sand beaches, steep cliffs and coves of amber sand mixed with pebbles and rocks alternate where granite with its organic shapes is the master.

Tueredda Beach

Leg 4

Porto Pino

Characterized by its white beaches that plunge into the blue shades of the sea, desert dunes of fine sand, clear seabeds, placid lagoons and a forest of rare Aleppo pines, thorny oaks, junipers and lush Mediterranean scrub.

Porto Pino

Leg 5

Sant'Antioco

We'll continue our itinerary through the area of Sant'Antioco, a characteristic coastline adorned with volcanic beaches, where the dark rocks meet the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean . The contrast between the volcanic sand and the vivid tones of the sea creates a landscape of great visual impact and unforgettable.

Sant'Antioco

Leg 6

Cala Masua, Pan di Zucchero

If the weather conditions allow it, our journey can continue towards the southwest coast in the Cala Masua region. Here the emblematic Sugarloaf Mountain, a 132-meter natural monument in the middle of the sea, dominates the landscape. Opposite, the daring work of Porto Flavia, suspended between sky and sea, built in the 20s, allowed the embarkation of minerals on ships.

Cala Masua, Pan di Zucchero

Leg 7

Carloforte

We will end our itinerary in Carloforte, a town included in the small club of the most beautiful villages in Italy. The island of San Pietro is rich in history and unspoiled nature, a privileged area of passage for bluefin tuna. Its village will enchant you with its streets and steep alleys where you can try the delicious traditional dish of Tuna alla Carlofortina.

Carloforte

The itinerary may be subject to changes due to weather conditions and/or technical or logistical reasons, in order to ensure safety and a pleasant sailing experience for all participants.

Learn to sail with a fantastic holiday between Northern Sardinia and Corsica

Living a few days on a sailing boat is an experience that I recommend to everyone, surely it is to be done at least once in a lifetime! As soon as you set sail, something magical is created: the strangers around you become a family, the wind, the sails unfurled and the sea overwhelm your every thought and suddenly your reality changes. And if, among all, you are lucky enough to have chosen Riccardo and you will get on board Bella Ciao, you can consider yourself a lucky person for the crazy experience you will live. [hidden]i is an experienced skipper who does this job with passion, tackles every maneuver naturally and makes you feel safe. He manages to convey respect and love for sailing and the sea, teaches you how to sail, involves you in every maneuver and spurs you on to get involved. You'll see crazy sunrises and sunsets, you'll sleep in off-the-beaten-path bays, you'll cook while rocking, you'll sleep under millions of stars. And on the last day you will descend profoundly changed. Thank you so much [hidden]i!

A week to remember, [hidden]y managed to create a nice atmosphere on board by making us sail in one of the most beautiful seas of the Mediterranean with a very maneuverable boat in perfect condition. A lover of the sea and nature, he transmits his passion for his work, not sparing precious advice to those who want to learn to sail. We have practically always sailed rigging the SPI for a long stretch. I will treasure your advice, among the many anchoring and unanchoring under sail, overview on engine maintenance, night navigation, knots, mooring .. Priceless then the aperitifs at sunset in beautiful bays, the night baths and the laughter in the cockpit also thanks to a super crew! Thank you [hidden]i, I hope our routes can meet again.

A fantastic experience. Riccardo is a very prepared skipper who took us to the most beautiful and less frequented beaches of Corsica. We saw beautiful landscapes, sailed (including use of the spi, anchoring and unanchoring without engine) and above all experienced a wonderful atmosphere on board. Thanks Riccardo and see you next time!

I had the pleasure to sail with [hidden]i for one week in Sardinia and Corsica. He is a highly skilled skipper who showed us some of the most beautiful beaches in the region. He was very knowledgeable about sailing and was able to identify where we could go primarily by sail (and not by motor). He even taught us how to sail at night. In addition to his sailing skills, he is a nice person to be around and a good cook. I highly recommend [hidden]i to anyone who wants to learn how to sail in great surroundings.
