This experience, in a nutshell
PENTHOUSE HORIZON AND THE TIMELESS CHARM OF THE TEMPLES OF THE SEA
An itinerary dedicated to those who love to combine total relaxation and comfort with the discovery of surprising and unique archaeological sites, unspoiled bays, characteristic villages. A sailing holiday to visit the true heart of the Cyclades.
Paros: the holiday begins in Naoussa with one of the most characteristic ports of the Aegean: fishing boats, remains of a Venetian fort and a compact Chora made up of narrow alleys and white houses. Outside the center, the bay opens onto beaches such as Kolymbithres and Monastiri, where the sculpted granite rock creates beautiful natural coves.
Rineia & Delos: heading towards Delos, a unique archaeological area: bare stone, marble lions and temples overlooking the blue define an open-air museum where ancient history dominates the landscape without modern interference. We then return to the roadstead in nearby Rineia, an uninhabited island. Wide bays, perfect stop to admire a memorable starry star from the boat.
Syros: Landing in Ermoupoli. A complete, lively port city, built on several levels directly on the sea, neoclassical architecture that stands out from the typical white of the Cyclades.
Kythnos: Known for its ancient hot springs and the iconic Kolona, a bay with a strip of sand that joins two sides of the island and where we will stop. One of the most famous anchorages in the Aegean.
Kea & Sounion: Final crossing to Attica. After the shelters of Kea, we head for Cape Sounion: the profile of the Temple of Poseidon appears from the sea and marks the natural closure of the route.
Athens/Lavrio: Space for a last swim in a bay on the Athens Riviera, and then land in Lavrio or in one of the capital's marinas.
In summary: You go up the central Aegean leaving the Cyclades behind to head towards the Temple of Poseidon at Cape Sounion. An itinerary that combines monumental testimonies of ancient Greece with spectacular bays and moments of pure relaxation.
