This experience, in a nutshell

Set sail from Kalamata on an adventurous eastbound journey around the southern and eastern Peloponnese, finishing in the island harbor of Poros. This route is made for solo travelers aged 20 to 45 who want authentic sailing, hidden coastlines, and access to places that most travelers never reach.

Leaving Kalamata, we follow the rugged Mani coast toward Limeni and Gerolimenas, anchoring beneath dramatic cliffs and stone tower villages where roads end and the sea begins. Instead of busy marinas, we slip into tiny fishing harbors, deserted coves, and anchorages without beach access, swimming in deep blue water far from crowds. Further east, the turquoise lagoons of Elafonisos, where remote Caribbean-like beaches with the hard-to-get in Greece fine sand feel almost unreal. Rounding Cape Malea, we visit the medieval rock town of Monemvasia that rises from the sea.

Turning north along the eastern Peloponnese, the scenery becomes wild and timeless. We explore quiet anchorages beneath forested slopes where villages cling to cliffs and ferries rarely stop. Many nights are spent at anchor in complete silence, far from light pollution and tourist noise, cooking together on board and swimming under the stars.

Life on board blends adventure and connection.

Days are filled with coastal sailing, snorkeling in untouched water, paddleboarding, and learning real sailing skills with the skipper. Ashore, you’ll hike to hilltop monasteries, explore forgotten castles, and share meals in family-run tavernas that still cater mainly to locals.

As we approach the sailing town of Poros, we will see more yachts again. Arriving in this lively harbor feels like a perfect contrast after days in remote anchorages — a final swim, sunset drinks, and one last evening together in habor bars or on the clock-tower hangout-spot.

This is a journey for independent spirits who want real sailing, wild coastlines, and the rare pleasure of discovering Greece from the sea — quietly, socially, and far beyond the usual tourist routes.
