This experience, in a nutshell

Our experience has an underlying theme: exclusivity for a small group of participants (4 people) on a boat that offers the spaces of a 15-meter sailboat, a proposal designed for those who love to experience the sea in comfort and tranquility.

The experience, therefore, is open to two couples, even independent of each other, or to families with 2 children/teenagers in tow. We have no intention of turning our boat into the equivalent of a crowded beach, for you and for us. Otherwise why should you choose a sailing holiday? Instead, we offer a slow and relaxed journey, in which the boat becomes home, a privileged observation point, and a space for sharing. A precise choice, in contrast to most proposals, which allows you to guarantee space and, therefore, quality of life on board.

We will explore the Tuscan Archipelago, sailing between Giannutri, Giglio and Elba, three very different islands, united by short and rewarding routes, ideal for a relaxed and authentic sail. Few guests mean more attention to people, more time for the beach, and an intimate, relaxed atmosphere. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be prepared on board, with the intention that our guests can offer themselves completely to the sea or the sea can offer itself completely to our guests. Those who want to enjoy a more intimate dinner at one of the ports we will touch, are of course free to do so.

We set sail from the Marina di Cala Galera, on the Argentario, 2 km away from Porto Ercole, an ideal starting point for sailing in the Tuscan Archipelago. The first route leads to Giannutri, an essential and silent island, where nature is dominant and the sea is the absolute protagonist. Here the pace slows down naturally: transparent backdrops and an environment that invites respect and listening. It is no coincidence that already in Roman times Giannutri was chosen as a place of retreat, as evidenced by the remains of Villa Domizia.

From the silence of Giannutri we move on to the more Mediterranean character of Giglio, an island deeply linked to the seafaring tradition. The roadsteads offer ideal stops for a good swim and that relaxation we always need, while Giglio Porto and the village of Giglio Castello tell stories of watchtowers, coastal navigation and island life that is still alive. Here the sea is intertwined with the local culture, with the cuisine or with the pleasure of an evening on land, without ever losing contact with the boat.

The itinerary is completed with the Island of Elba, the largest and most varied of the Tuscan Archipelago. Sailing along its coasts means discovering sheltered bays, cliffs, small ports, and a historical stratification that goes from the Etruscans to the iron mines, up to the exile of Napoleon. From here we will return with the most intense of our sailings to the starting base, the Argentario.

Leg 1

Porto Ercole/Cala Galera

Boarding will take place at 6.00 pm. You can immediately store your luggage in the respective cabins. We all meet in the cockpit for a little refreshment and to get to know each other better. The skipper will take the opportunity to give a briefing, necessary to explain to everyone the rules of life on board, to provide you with some information on the management of the boat and the week's itinerary. Welcome dinner on board. Free evening at the Marina di Cala Galera.

Leg 2

Cala Galera - Giannutri

It starts in the early morning. Short navigation that leads directly to the Island of Giannutri, ideal for getting into the slow pace of the experience. Arrival in the same morning and stop in the permitted areas near Cala Maestra or Cala Spalmatoio, in compliance with the rules of the Park. Swimming in transparent waters, silence and nature. For those who wish, a short walk on land, through the use of the on-board tender, along the allowed paths to admire the remains of Villa Domizia, testimony of the Roman presence on the island. Night in the regulated roadstead.

Leg 3

Giannutri - Giglio Island

In the morning we leave for the island of Giglio. Day dedicated to the exploration of the island by sea. Swim and snorkel in roadsteads such as Cala delle Cannelle or Cala dell'Arenella. Quiet evening on board or, for those interested, a walk through the narrow streets of Giglio Porto, where we will arrive again using the on-board tender. Night at anchor.

Leg 4

Giglio Island

Day dedicated to the exploration of Giglio by sea. Snorkeling and swimming in coves such as Cala del Corvo or Campese. Those who wish can go ashore to visit Giglio Castello,

Medieval village perched, rich in history and maritime tradition, which can be reached via a mule track (45-60 min.). Night at anchor.

Leg 5

Giglio - Island of Elba

Route to the Island of Elba. A more challenging navigation, ideal for those who really love sailing. Arrival on the Island of Elba in the afternoon, with a stop in a sheltered roadstead on the south coast such as the Gulf of Lacona or

the Bay of Stella. Alternatively, mooring in the port of Marina di Campo or Porto Azzurro. In the evening we walk through Marina di Campo or Porto Azzurro in search of a good ice cream.

Leg 6

Island of Elba

A day dedicated to the discovery of Elba, with coastal navigation to the west or north, depending on the conditions. Possible stops in Fetovaia, Cala Viticcio or Cala Biodola. Last night on Elba, in the roadstead or in one of the most sheltered ports, chosen according to the weather conditions.

Leg 7

Island of Elba - Cala Galera

Return navigation to the Argentario. Time for a very last long sail, a refreshing swim along the way, and the return to the Marina di Cala Galera in the afternoon, with disembarkation and final goodbyes. Until next time!

The itinerary may be subject to changes due to weather conditions and/or technical or logistical reasons, in order to ensure safety and a pleasant sailing experience for all participants.
