Brief description of the holiday
Are you ready to live your first crossing
From Calais we will take the direction of Dover. During the 4 hours that separate us from the white cliffs so peculiar to the English coast you will have the possibility if you wish to take the helm and to familiarize yourself with the basics of sailing.

Once arrived at Dover you will have the opportunity to visit the city and its magnificent castle which offers a sublime view of the "Channel" and far off on the French coast. Dover is also known for the command post of Operation Dynamo ("the evacuation of Dunkirk"), which is possible to visit.
Finally, we will be able to enjoy a beer in the cozy atmosphere of the Royal Cinque Port Yacht Club before heading to the pub to taste a "so British" fish and chips.
The next day we will set sail for the harbor town of Ramsgate and its royal harbor. The city was very often the holiday resort of Queen Victoria which drove the popular craze for this very pretty city.
For a weekend, come and relax and soak up the British rhythm. Change of scenery guaranteed.
Possibility to arrive on Friday night and sleep on the boat.
Ready? Sail on board!
First 38S 5 Beneteau
My sailboat is a pretty First 38S5 from 1990. It is perfectly maintained and regularly renovated. The First is a boat that made the history of sailing. It is very easy to maneuver which allows to get used to and improve quickly to maneuvers on board. Very nice and comfortable with its 2 cabins and a bathroom, it is ideal to spend a long weekend at sea or more.
