Brief description of the holiday
The week at the Aeolian Islands begins in the charming town of PortoROSA (Furnari-Messina) . The port, inside a tourist village, is located in a strategic position, and is easily accessible by car, along the A20 motorway, but also from Catania airport (there is a convenient shuttle bus service) and Palermo. .?
Geographically, it is one of the closest locations to the Aeolian Islands so in about three hours of navigation you can reach the archipelago.
Check-in on Saturday generally takes place between 15/16. Once you have purchased the galley (possible market in the same village) and boarded the crew members, we set off to reach the southern edge of the island of Vulcano (Località Gelso). Restorative swim and then transfer for the evening to the bay or to the western port of the same island. From here it is possible to make a night visit to the town.
Bow towards Panarea . The island that needs no introduction, is surrounded by a small archipelago of islets where you can pleasantly spend the whole day. In the evening you cannot miss the exploration of the small village, famous for its intense nightlife. Unforgettable night moored in the peaceful Milazzese bay.
Monday is the turn of the island of Stromboli where the more daring can make the ascent to the crater (excursion that requires an authorized guide to be booked) or, the more romantic, watch the breathtaking sunset from a terrace of the tiny hamlet of Ginostra.
In the morning we leave, bow on Salina with an intermediate stop for a swim north of Panarea (the island is on the route to Salina halfway through). Salina is defined as the green island and, for trekking enthusiasts, after a climb of medium difficulty, through unexpected woods (lasting about 3 hours), you reach "Fossa delle Felci" the highest peak of the entire archipelago (968m. ). From here you can enjoy the 360 ° view of the entire archipelago. Unforgettable panorama! The more enjoyable ones can instead be distracted with the famous Alfredo granitas or with the "pane cunzato", in the locality of Lingua, otherwise visit one of the numerous local wineries producing excellent wines including the famous Malvasia.
Before leaving Salina, stop for a swim in the famous bay of Pollara , (one of the sets where they shot the film “Il Postino”) then head to Filicudi to spend the night in the tiny port of Pecorini a Mare.
After an excursion in a tender inside the cave of the "Bue Marino" and a passage next to the "Canna" (places on the island that should not be deserted) we go to Lipari, the largest island of the archipelago. Before reaching the port to visit the town, you can admire the west coast of the island and in particular “Valle Muria” , wonderful for the colors of the coves, the Faraglioni and the mouths of Vulcano (necessary bathing stops).
it is the day of the return but, before heading to PortoRosa , we will circumnavigate the west coast of the island of Vulcano to visit the "Grotta del Cavallo" and other bays entirely made up of lava.
Check out day between 9/10.

Other important information
Also this year we will sail in compliance with the rules laid down in terms of prevention and safety, the boat environments and accessories supplied will be disinfected at each crew change with special equipment .
For single travelers there is the possibility of having a double cabin for exclusive use, paying a supplement of 30% (generally a 50% surcharge applies).
A cheap holiday, immersed in the sparkle of the sea, away from crowds, noise and constraints, in the much desired relaxation as ever in this unusual period.
The comfortable and generous boat in the kit of accessories, provides, for the most "demanding": desalinator (no limitation for the water of the services) and generator (no problem for recharging users, such as cell phones, potable and hairdryer), for the most "sailors": gennaker and spinnaker, for the more "comfortable": cockpit with cushions and sundeck at the bow and, for the more "technological" PC-TV-WIFI.
I recommend soft luggage and clothing that includes a hat, sweatshirts, t-shirts, a waterproof jacket, but above all ... lots of swimsuits!
Sheets, quilts and towels (face & guest) are part of the equipment offered.
