Situational training experience, 160 miles of navigation. A fairly long route with coastal stretches and others in the open sea.

We will share with the crew all the phases necessary to reach the destination: planning, checks, refueling, preparation of the boat and navigation, both sailing and motor, management of landings in the roadstead and in ports. Together we will read the weather forecast, trace the route, use the on-board instruments, adjust the engine and sails. Everyone will have the opportunity to steer, maneuver, adjust the sails, try, experiment, make mistakes. We are not sailors, we don't do regattas, but we have a lot of sailing experience, mainly in the central Mediterranean and we like to pass on knowledge. With our boat we have sailed far and wide, from Genoa to Lampedusa, from Tunisia to the border with Turkey.

During this navigation we will also have the opportunity to deepen the aspects concerning the management of a crew.

We will see how to manage electricity and water consumption, how to manage waste, how to stow. We will take care of the on-board kitchen, learning to differentiate the type of meals consumed in port from those to be prepared and consumed at sea.

We have charter experience but also many years of experience in solidarity sailing with disadvantaged people. We will tell you how sailing is a very powerful educational tool.
