Brief description of the holiday
Get on board to discover the beauty of nature, the scents and flavors of a Sicily not beaten by the usual routes of pleasure boats, live an authentic experience of navigation and sea life.
Starting from Palermo we will decide based on the weather conditions and the desire of the moment our route: towards Ustica and its magical explosion of spring, the crystal clear waters of San Vito , or discovering the surprises that the stretch of coast reserves for Cefalù .
The program is simple: navigate, explore and learn about the area from the sea and from the ground thanks to the beautiful treks immersed in the Mediterranean scrub, staying together in simplicity and enjoying the small and essential pleasures that the boat and the sea offer us.
On board you will find a family atmosphere and an experienced crew ready to take care of you, to introduce you to the adventure of going by sea, the delights of Mediterranean cuisine and the warmth and hospitality that only an inhabited boat can offer.
Viva 48, Cantiere Fiberstamp
The Viva 48 is a solid and sturdy sailboat, built with mastery to ensure good navigation and safety performance. Designed by Alfeo Scattolin in the late '70s as cruise-racer on the lines of Faram-Serenissima, his other creation of little previous one that had obtained several excellent results in the regattas of that period. The slender lines and the shape of the hull typical of the IOR class, give this boat remarkable sailing performance and the navigation is comfortable and safe in all weather conditions. The deck offers ample space both for the maneuver and for the relaxation of the guests on board. The interiors are simple and collected, cared for with love and characterized by the welcoming spirit of a boat that is also a home. There are 4 cabins (one for the crew) and two bathrooms. On board we try never to occupy the dinette to ensure maximum comfort for our guests; the boat can comfortably accommodate 6 people in the case of families with children, when our guests are all adults we prefer not to travel with more than 5 people. Each cabin has its own 12 V power socket and the boat has a 3.5 kW generator for 220 V power. Other technical details and equipment: Sloop rig, rigging 2018, full batten mainsail, lazy bag, genoa roller shutter, staysail on mobile tripod and flying shrouds, Iveco Aifo 95 hp engine, 220V Mase 3.5 KW generator set, Simrad GPS chart, VHF, Delta 20 Kg anchor, Quick anchor windlass 2015, 3.20 m tender with outboard motor 3 , 5 hp, diesel oil 500 liters, water 600 liters, water heater, fridge, gas cooker, microwave, stereo with CD player, large awning, sheets.

Other important information
We advise you to bring only the bare essentials stored in soft bags or bags that can be stowed once emptied. A pair of shoes to be used only on boats is indispensable.
Don't forget a sleeping bag and a windbreaker, hat and clothes that protect from cold and humidity, especially when sailing (the fleece is fine).
The boat has its own set of sheets.
The boat has a generator, which if necessary can also supply the heating heaters; However, we advise against bringing "superfluous" 220-volt equipment such as a hair dryer (found on board), hair straightener, electric razors, etc. In each cabin there is a 12-volt socket for charging electronic devices, so you we recommend to bring chargers with USB connection. Only biodegradable products are used on board, also for personal hygiene.
