The sailing boat is ideal for visiting the Balearic Islands, a jewel of the Mediterranean and one of the most suggestive destinations for summer holidays. Hidden coves where you can immerse yourself in the turquoise water far from the crowd, long beaches animated by the characteristic Chiringuito, paths immersed in nature and cities pulsating with nightlife like Ibiza and Palma de Mallorca.
First day: Palma de Mallorca
The starting point of this Majorca-Ibiza route is Palma de Mallorca. Before leaving our moorings, we can take time to discover Palma, the main town on the island of Mallorca that has maintained an authentic charm. Once we have made a detailed check-in with the basic item and checked all the on-board equipment, we will make the galley, near the port we will find everything we need for these first days of cruise. We will enjoy this first evening on board with an aperitif in the cockpit in order to familiarize yourself with the spaces of your rental boat and the new traveling companions.
Second day: Majorcan coast seen from the sea
After a nice breakfast overlooking the sea, it's time to set sail for the first cove. We will spend the day with little navigation and diving in crystal clear waters between Cala Pi, Cala Caragol, Cala En Porter and Cala S'Escala. The following day we will have a long day of navigation, so take advantage of the evening to rest and relax.
Third Day: Ibiza
On the third day of sailing we will head to Ibiza! For this stage, you need to count about 65 miles, between 9 and 10 hours of navigation. We will moor in a roadstead near the Ibiza Marina to discover the riches that this island can offer. This Balearic island has several facets: during the day you can visit its quiet bays and in the evening enjoy its nightlife, known throughout the world.
Fourth and fifth day: along the coasts of Ibiza
In these days we will make a pleasant tour of the island. In all, the complete tour will take about 8 hours for a distance of about 37 miles. During the two days we will take advantage of the stops in the bays like Cala Codola, to take a dip or go ashore and refresh ourselves with a drink, an ice cream or better a nice cocktail. We will spend the night at anchor.
Sixth day: Formentera
As soon as we wake up we will head off to another Balearic island: Formentera. The breathtaking landscapes and the white sandy beaches and the crystal clear sea of Ses Illetes, Levant, Migjorn, Es Calo des Mort, Cala Saona are unmissable destinations for a perfect sailing holiday. In the evening we will head towards Cabrera for a night sail under the stars, given the 10 hours of navigation that await us.
Seventh day: Cabrera
Cabrera is a small island off the coast of Majorca, which became a maritime-terrestrial natural park in 1991. This jewel of the Balearic archipelago has a natural harbor that leaves you speechless and a fascinating story full of myths and legends. Like other islands in the Mediterranean, it has seen the passage of Phoenicians, Carthaginians, Byzantines and Romans on its soil. Going down to the ground you can take wonderful walks or visit the 14th century castle. At dusk we will head to the port of Palma where we will spend the night.
Eighth day: Palma de Mallorca
Even this sailing holiday is coming to an end but for those who are not yet tired and want to enjoy the beauties of Palma we can settle in a hotel (accommodation in a double room 65 €) on the harbor and take the return flight on Sunday instead of Saturday.
You will sail in the Flottiglia with two of my trusty partners, friends and skipper that you find below in the "The Flotilla Skippers" tab
