Sardinia, particularly the northern part, is a perfect destination for a sailing holiday. The Maddalena Archipelago is made up of many small islands that are very close to each other and this allows for short and quiet sailing. Easily accessible by crossing the Bocche di Bonifacio is the southern tip of Corsica, with the town of the same name.
Crystal-clear sea, beautiful sunsets and breathtaking views... These will be the ingredients of our week in Sardinia!
Example of itinerary:
Day 1 - PEVERO GULF
After check-in we can decide whether to spend the night in port at Cala dei Sardi, or to move on and start the week immediately with an aperitif or dinner in the quiet Gulf of Pevero where we can admire the Costa Smeralda.
Day 2 - CALA COTICCIO
After about an hour of sailing we reach the island of Caprera, where we can stop for a swim in Cala Coticcio, one of the most beautiful and famous bays in the area. A real natural swimming pool surrounded by rocks that turn pink with the lights of the sunset, creating a very suggestive scenery.
For the night we can stop at the Marina di Cala Gavetta where we can go ashore to visit the historic port.
Day 3 - SPARGI AND LAVEZZI
Leaving the marina, we head towards the island of Spargi, the third largest in the Archipelago National Park. Here we can stop at one of the beautiful coves for a swim, including Cala Corsara and Cala Ganara.
We will leave Spargi and head towards Bonifacio. On the way we can stop at the island of Lavezzi and moor at Cala Lazzarina.
Day 4 - BONIFACIO
After leaving the island of Lavezzi, we head towards Bonifacio. Before arriving at our destination, we must make a stop in the morning at Isola Piana.
We will then continue our crossing towards the Marina di Bonifacio. The view from the harbour is very impressive: a small town perched on a spectacular promontory of white rock overlooking the sea. Once there, we will be able to go ashore to visit the Rocca and see the Bocche di Bonifacio and the Maddalena Archipelago in the background.
Day 5 - RONDINARA GULF
We will leave this beautiful town behind us and move on to the Gulf of Rondinara, a quiet bay with white sand and turquoise water. On the way we can stop for a swim at Cala di Zeri, on Cavallo Island, a private and unspoilt island where you can snorkel to admire the reef.
We will arrive in the Gulf of Rondinara where we will spend the night in the roadstead.
Day 6 - CALA DI MARINO
We leave Corsica behind us and return to Sardinia. Once again we will cross the Bocche di Bonifacio to arrive in Cala di Marino, which we can use as a base not only for the night, but also to reach the fantastic islands of Budelli, Santa Maria and Razzoli with the tender on board.
Day 7 - CALA DEI SARDI
On the last day we will set sail from Cala di Marino and head towards the port of disembarkation, Cala dei Sardi. During the day we can make a stop in the famous and fashionable Porto Cervo or two stops for the last baths in Cala di Volpe and Portisco.
Check out will be done by 06:00 pm and you can spend the last evening and night in the port to leave the boat the next morning by 08:00 am.
The itinerary may be altered, at the skipper's decision, for technical and/or weather reasons and according to the guests' requests.
