Brief description of the holiday
Beautiful beaches, emerald sea, smooth rocks, bent trees, strong smells, intense winds, rich flavors, simple people, boundless horizons, narrow ports, silent coves, crowded lands. Our sailing trip between Sardinia and Corsica will be full of all the unique ingredients that make these two great islands among the most beautiful places in the whole world.
We will sail along the Costa Smeralda , between the islands of the Maddalena Archipelago , we will cross the Bocche di Bonifacio to dedicate as many days to Corsica with the most beautiful places in its southern area.
We will be two boats , which will always sail together, a flotilla made of people ready to live wonderful days together, having fun and navigating a beautiful sea and discovering wonderful lands.
There will also be great party nights , including beach parties in Porto Pollo and disco nights in Palau, parties under the stars in Capo Testa, live music in La Maddalena, we will keep an eye on the calendar of events in the area and when possible we will coordinate our routes to go and live them
Come with us, we are waiting for you on board!
WHAT WE WILL VISIT:
MADDALENA - large and full of beauty
It is the largest of the islands of the archipelago, a fixed stop on every route, where you can get rid of the streets of the town by partying and enjoying all the best of Sardinian cuisine. Not to be missed: a meal of raw fish at the fish market.
CAPRERA - more than an island, a myth
one of the most beautiful islands of the archipelago with its beautiful coves that surround the whole island. Cala Lunga, Portese, Garibaldi, the beautiful Cala Coticcio, are all breathtaking stops and at sunset all on the ground to walk the paths of the island between military structures and wild nature. Not to be missed: Cala Coticcio in the early morning; a walk to Bastiani Fortress.
BUDELLI - wonder to live and know
among the most beautiful islands of the archipelago is the one that adds to its beauty also the story of Mauro, a man who has lived in it and tells it for many years. It is a wonderful place to stop for a night and to wake up early in the morning for a swim in crystal clear waters when its beaches are still empty. Not to be missed: a discreet visit to Mauro the guardian of the island; an early morning swim in the waters of the Cavaliere beach.
RAZZOLI - deserted, wild, wonderful
as soon as the mistral permits, Cala Lunga becomes the unmissable berth for an unforgettable night. Razzoli is nothingness that becomes everything, absolute silence, darkness, the sound of the sea, limpid. A starry night spent here is one of the unforgettable moments of going to sea. Not to be missed: a walk to the lighthouse to watch the sunset; a ride in a sup or canoe between the most hidden corners.
LAVEZZI E CAVALLO - the French sisters
the first French islands that meet along the navigation. The first is wild, with rocks smoothed by a wind that here can become fierce, the second VIP, with incredible houses overlooking coves perfect for anchoring and having fun in long baths.
PORTOVECCHIO - the fishing village
Approaching the east side of Corsica means meeting beautiful bays like Rondinara and Santa Giulia but also arriving in Porto Vecchio where you can spend a pleasant evening in the streets of its center and take advantage of the stop to buy fish, always fresh and abundant here.
BONIFACIO - one of the symbols of the Mediterranean
There are mythical places for those who sail, Bonifacio is one of them. First the white cliffs of Capo Pertusato and then the entrance into the fjord of one of the most beautiful villages in the Mediterranean. Not to be missed: a walk through its alleys and lookouts; a good dinner in the restaurants of the center; a little party in the port premises.
We will be aboard two Bavaria 46 , large, beautiful, new and comfortable boats, equipped with everything you need to enjoy a pleasant sailing trip. Both boats have four large double cabins. The boats will be ready to welcome guests in cabins equipped with sheets, blankets and personal towels. On board to relax and enjoy hammocks and mattresses.

Sardinia and Corsica in August offer very hot days when the wind does not blow, but which become cool and breezy as soon as the famous mistral wind begins to be felt. The climate in both cases is very pleasant and the sea has a temperature that gives very long baths. In sailing, it will be good to cover yourself a little to fully enjoy the navigation, without fear of the cold.
HOW TO DRESS
Sailing in August means full summer and suitcases that can be reduced to a minimum. However, waterproof and windproof clothing that can be useful during navigation should not be forgotten. A non-exhaustive list, excluding intimate and evening things that everyone freely decides, could be this: thermal shirt, polo shirt, fleece / sweatshirt, sports pants, sneakers / sailing, socks, sunglasses, windbreaker , costume, hat.
REACH THE BASE
Cannigione is located in the homonymous gulf in the north of Sardinia, about 30 kilometers from Olbia. Olbia is easily accessible both by plane, from the main Italian airports, and by ship from all the most important ports of the Tyrrhenian Sea. Because it will need it, we will organize a transfer (out of the participation fee) that will take you directly from Olbia to the port of embarkation.
