This is a holiday dedicated to
- Sailing School
Brief description of the holiday
GROENLAND: The green country, as described by the first Viking navigators who landed there in the year 1000, is mainly on its South West coast. But its East coast presents a significant freeze, North of the Scoresby Sund, due to the descent of a polar current which involves icebergs and pack in breakup. It is one of the most isolated places on our planet. It can only be accessed a few weeks a year. From Isafjordur, Iceland, our objective will be the discovery of the glacial landscapes located around the Sermilik fjord: Glacier Rasmussen and Steenstrup, and the wild coast located between Kangerdlussuaq Fjord and Scoresby Sund, under immense mountains. Observation of marine and terrestrial life, landings on land and trekking, Kayaking, swimming and apnea for the bravest. Maybe we will have the chance to see a polar bear?
Check out the crew!
